Custom rubber gaskets for industrial applications
CC Rubber produces custom (and standard) rubber gaskets. From O-rings to gaskets for tanks, silos and process installations. Material selection is based on your application and focused on reliable performance under the most demanding industrial conditions. This is the quality and dedication you can expect from a rubber expert with more than 55 years of experience.

What are rubber gaskets?
Rubber gaskets prevent liquids, gases or contaminants from escaping or entering at the contact zones between machine components. They play a critical role in almost every industrial application, from hydraulics and machine building to food processing and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The performance of a gasket does not depend solely on its shape, but above all on the right combination of rubber type and application environment. A gasket that withstands oil-containing environments may fail at high temperatures. A rubber that is UV-resistant is not necessarily chemically resistant.
At CC Rubber every gasket project therefore starts with a technical analysis: we examine pressure, temperature, chemical exposure and service life. Based on that we select the rubber type, hardness and gasket geometry that will perform optimally for your application.
Our types of rubber gaskets
CC Rubber manufactures the full range of rubber gaskets: from standardized parts to fully custom-developed solutions.
O-rings
The most commonly used gasket in industrial hydraulics and pneumatics. CC Rubber supplies O-rings in all standard sizes and custom options for non-standard groove diameters. Available in NBR, EPDM, silicone, fluoroelastomers (FKM, also known commercially as Viton) and other compounds.Flat gaskets
Gaskets for flange connections, cover seals and pipe connections. Supplied cut from sheet rubber to your exact shape, with thicknesses matched to the connection tolerance and pressureLip seals and shaft seals
Dynamic seals for rotating shafts, where wear resistance and friction management come together. Material selection is matched to peripheral speed, temperature and lubrication conditions.Profile gaskets
Gaskets with specific cross-sections (e.g. U-profiles, T-profiles, round or hollow profiles) for doors, hatches, window frames and machine enclosures. CC Rubber extrudes to length or vulcanizes into closed frames.Custom-made gaskets
For applications where standard solutions are not sufficient, CC Rubber develops fully custom solutions. From prototype to series production, using our own moulds or moulds you supply. Complex shapes, mixed hardnesses and rubber-to-metal bonding are possible.
Which rubber type for which application?
The choice of rubber determines the service life and reliability of the gasket. CC Rubber works with all common industrial rubber types and advises which material suits your specific application.
- NBR (acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber): the standard choice for gaskets in contact with mineral oils, greases, fuels and hydraulic fluids. Temperature range -30°C to +100°C.
- EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene monomer rubber): excellent resistance to water, steam, ozone and UV radiation. Ideal for outdoor applications, sanitary and cooling water systems. Temperature range −40°C to +120°C.
- VMQ (silicone rubber): retains flexibility at both very low and very high temperatures (-55°C to +220°C). FDA-compliant grades available for food and pharmaceutical applications.
- FKM (fluoroelastomer): also known commercially as Viton, delivers top performance in chemically aggressive environments, acids, solvents and high temperatures up to 200°C. Chosen for pharmaceutical processes, the chemical industry and aerospace.
- CR (neoprene-polychloroprene): balanced resistance to oil, ozone and weathering. Widely used for general gaskets in marine and industrial environments.
- SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber): a synthetic elastomer with good abrasion resistance and an attractive price-performance ratio. It is therefore widely used in general industrial and mechanical applications. However, it has lower elasticity and limited resistance to oils, ozone and ageing compared to natural rubber.
- NR (natural rubber): an elastomer with excellent elasticity, high tensile strength and very good abrasion resistance, ideal for dynamically loaded applications. However, it has limited resistance to oils, UV and ozone, so it is often used in blends for technical gaskets.
