Elastomeric bearings are used in (industrial) constructions for several reasons:
- Damping of vibrations and shocks
They absorb vibrations and shocks, reducing damage to the structure and material fatigue. - Distribution of loads
They help to evenly distribute loads across the structure, minimizing local stresses and deformations. - Compensation for movements
Elastomeric bearings can accommodate small rotations and displacements in the structure, for instance due to thermal expansion or contraction, without causing significant stress.
CC Rubber has been specialized in the production of bearings for many years and has a large stock of basic materials to produce the bearings prescribed by the design office or engineer in the shortest possible time.
We offer the following types:
- Unreinforced in strip form, as a plate, or cut to size /li>
- Unreinforced with Teflon (PTFE) as a sliding plate
- Reinforced (rubber-metal-rubber) with a thickness of 10 mm to 40 mm
- Reinforced with Teflon (PTFE) as a sliding plate
